Letter to Juvenile Court Judges across the Nation | riversled's Blog

Hello, I hope to see you at the NCJFCJ Conference in Chicago. With the struggling economy and budget pressure hitting State agencies across the Nation, we have seen an increase in referrals of families dealing with teens that have sexual behavioral problems. Families have been contacting us where the case has been held in abeyance until completion of the treatment program. This has created a win-win for all parties involved. Students are able to receive treatment and help with these very specific problems (In many cases there is very limited sex specific treatment available in their home State.), while the courts are able to maintain public safety as well as shift some of the costs associated with adjudication to the parents. Please review the easy reference links below and don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
